"Can Dems, GOP agree on reform prescription?"

From an article in The Dallas Morning News titled, “Can Dems, GOP agree on reform prescription?,” an editorial review is posted to reach out to those who are interested in learning more about the United States’ health care reform. As the article seeks to inform those weighing the pros and cons of President Barack Obama’s decisions, it seems apparent the author of this article leans favorably on the Republican side. The creator of this editorial describes Washington’s health care meeting held on February 24, 2010 as, “partly for show, a made-for-TV event.” With that being said, the author surprisingly seems to support President Obama’s decision to move forward with the reform; under preferred circumstances, of course.

As I am not able to locate the name or credibility of the articles’ author, I am contented with the logic and opinions of their statements. For example, I am pleased with their fearless depiction of where President Obama can improve; explaining how President Obama seeks to exempt more families when it comes to the health care reform which would only result in lessening the control of health care costs. He also enlightens the reader concerning President Obama’s plan to have Washington regulate health insurance premiums. The author opposes this idea and believes the health insurance premiums are, “best left to states.”

All in all, I am pleased with this author’s opinions. Although he understandably tries to weigh both pros and cons of the United States’ health care reform, he clearly expresses how apparent it is that the reform still has many provisions to consider.
